I just wanted to let you know we published a generic open source solution for exporting data from arbitrary SAP HANA tables, views or information views to various output formats. The project is called ODXL and you can read more about it here:

- Implemented as a xsjs service
- Based on OData request interface
- Output format can be .csv or excel
- Multiple worksheets can be exported using a single batch request
- Code is pluggable so developers can create and configure their own, custom output format.

It provides the actual service, as well as a sample application that shows how you can call the service.
