RSARCHD used to delete data but archive file state did not changed

Hi experts,

I have used the report RSARCHD to delete data. Data have been deleted but the state of the file has not changed. What happens?

I tried to delete the same file again but in log I could read that there werde no data to delete this time. Where is the problem? Why is the state of the archive file  not set to deleted?
